What are SIAs?

As well as our European quarterly thought leadership conferences, we have a number of Vendorcom Special Interest Areas that deal with in-depth knowledge sharing and issues resolution across the industry. SIAs exist covering;

Acquirer Updates
ATM
CNP & CNP Fraud
Contactless, NFC & Mobile
Disability Matters
Faster Payments
Fuel & Forecourt Payments
Future Payments
Hospitality Sector
Middle East
PCI & Payment Security
Prepaid & Stored Value
Public Sector Payments
Payment Terminals & UPT
SEPA
Testing and Accreditation
Travel, Transport & Ticketing

Each of these SIAs has a separate forum on VIZ where members can view and post articles, white papers, comments, questions etc that relate to that area. We then have Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that map onto each of these SIAs, where members come together for seminar based workshops or discussion groups to hear about and look at the key developments/issues pertinent to that particular SIA. We have also put together working groups and run training interventions in particular SIAs where appropriate.

SIAs develop over time, with some merging or splitting, others ceasing and new areas emerging as the industry continues to grow and develop.

If you are interested to find out more about our Special Interest Group meetings, please view the Forthcoming Events forum (available via the Board Index)
